■依頼の目的/概要 (The objective/outline of this project)

ビジネス英語（Eメール／レター）の中級レベルのライティング教材（出版用）の中に出てくる、英文箇所のネイティブチェックをお願いします。日本語のものですが、テキスト中に多数、英語の例文やフレーズが出てきます。テキストの分量は約170－200ページほどで、例題も多数含み、およそ半分が英語のテキストやフレーズとお考え下さい。

We are planning to publish an English learning materials specified in business e-mail/letter writing for the Japanese English-learners of the intermediate level in Japanese. To this end, we need an English-native to proof-read all the English parts, sited as sample mails, letters, sentences and phrases. The overall volume is about 170-200 pages, in which roughly half is in English.

■重視する点 (Desired qualifications)

今回は英語ネイティブに限定させて頂きます。ビジネス英語を扱いますので、ビジネス経験或いはビジネス英語の指導経験のある方が望ましいと思っています。ただ、あくまで日本語の書籍になりますので、日本語がある程度読める方を希望します。

This job is available for English natives only. Since this book handles business English, those with working experiences (in English) or teaching experiences of business English are preferred. The candidate also needs to have at least some reading skills of Japanese, as this book is written in Japanese.

応募時に、(1) 英語の校正(proof-reading)経験、(2) ビジネス英語の経験、(3)日本語力について明記して下さい。

When you apply, please clearly state your experiences/skills in (1) proof-reading in English, (2) business English, and (3) Japanese language.

原稿はまだ編集中のため、実質の作業にかかって頂くのは、10月半ば前後。校正にかかる期間は5日ほどでお願いします。もし無理な場合は、必要日数をご明記下さい。

As we are still working on the manuscript, it won't be before mid-October that we can hand it to you. And we hope you could finish proof-reading within 5 days or so. If this is not feasible, please state the realistic time frame for you.
