Japanese text checked before it goes public

I specialize in reviewing Japanese text before it is made public or fixed.

My background is not in translation or proofreading.
I previously worked as a director at a video production company, where I handled editing, script revision, and language direction. My role was to adjust wording and nuance so the intended meaning was conveyed naturally in Japanese.

In that work, correctness alone was never enough.
I had to consider audience perception, tone, and how language would actually be received once released.

Today, I apply the same judgment to business and public-facing Japanese text.
I review wording that is difficult to change later, such as websites, app UI, notices, ads, and pre-contract explanations.

My focus is not how Japanese looks in theory,
but whether it is safe, natural, and appropriate for real use in Japan.

If a sentence risks misunderstanding, I point it out clearly
and explain why.
This service focuses on accurate and appropriate wording,
not volume editing.
