- Project: Data conversion for Japanese fashion company Uniqlo from Postgres to Google Cloud
- Requirements: Convert all data in Postgres and Tableau BI to Google Cloud and Tableau BI, and reports using Tableau BI must match the data in Postgres
- Technology used: Google Big query, Google Cloud, Tableau BI
- Difficulty: Because Postgres is a small DB, the structure is different from Cloud (commands, storage...) so the way of querying on Cloud must be changed.
Solution: We had to completely rewrite “with as” with more clipboard structure on Google Big query to suit Customsql on Tableau BI. Change all temporary variables in Tableau.
